Kelli and I went snorkeling yesterday at Hanauma Bay and saw two giant sea turtles (honu)! We also saw our blog's namesake (humuhumunukunukuapuaa) and countless other beautiful fish.
Today Chris and I are going to hike Diamond Head. For dinner we're making banana and macadamia-encrusted mahimahi with coconut ginger sauce and grilled pineapple. I'll post the recipe if it's good.

oh it was all awful! it was the worst thing we've ever cooked!
The sea turtles' flight through the water is as graceful as it is powerful. Islanders' revere these prehistoric beauties and show respect by eating them.
